AWS OpsWorks: User Guide

This is official Amazon Web Services (AWS) documentation for AWS OpsWorks. AWS OpsWorks is an application management service that provides an integrated experience for managing the complete application lifecycle. AWS OpsWorks Stacks and AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate let you use Chef cookbooks and solutions for configuration management. This guide describes the core components of AWS OpsWorks, and shows you how to create and manage stacks, application layers, and instances throughout the cloud application lifecycle. The guide also describes how to set up and manage an AWS OpsWorks for Chef Automate server and use it to manage the configuration of nodes in your enterprise. To work with AWS OpsWorks you can use the AWS CLI, any of multiple SDKs, or the AWS Management Console, a browser-based graphical user interface.
