Alpha’s Duty isn’t my favorite book of this series. I found the characters to be annoying and I saw the twist coming a mile away. I’m still interested to see what’s next in this series and how everything will play out. I have my suspenders but hope I’m wrong.

This story was the fourth story in series and my favorite so far. Well written and gave a little more of back ground information as to beginning of story. Looking forward to Cole story and hopefully answer to questions, what did parents not tell sons the last night, why Luther and Cole speak in nickel plated wall room, and if all five sons get together again.

I absolutely loved this book. It has so much action and adventure. I loved every minute of the book even the painful parts. Ferren is such an awesome character she has so much depth. The chemistry is falling off the pages.

*Spoilers*

To go from a regular Jane to a special werewolf in a moment is unrealistic, but for Ferren, it happened in what seemed like stages. I can’t imagine the pain and heartache Ferren went through after she was attacked by the shifter wolf. To have her life flash before her eyes; showing her life leading up to becoming a doctor and to it slip thru your fingers in seconds and see that while you had loving parents there wasn’t anyone special in your life is hard.

I never really cared much for Mike either. He seemed very... pushy and annoying. This was an interesting read, and while I really liked Ferren, I liked Jett a bit more. Although, I thought Ferren’s ability was the coolest by far.

Ferret and Kodiak were very cute together towards the latter part of the book, but it couldn’t feel it in the beginning of their relationship. After the car crash you can see her accepting her inner wolf and fighting for something close to her heart.

The imprinting from eye contact seemed a little strange, but it was an easy way for her to become someone trusted, with an alpha in her corner in no time at all. It seemed a bit convenient to have that happen rather than the build up from UST. The sex scene was drab and there didn’t seem to be much feeling behind it.

Ever since Wren’s book I have been wondering what Kodiak, the brother he adored, was like and in Alpha’s Duty I got the chance to meet Kodiak and the woman he imprints on, Ferren. I really enjoyed the story about a strong woman who was more than happy with her life; a doctor who loved her work and was quite happy to be single. This all changes one night on her way home, when she hits a wolf with her car. Kodiak, the Wylde brother, whose gift is the sense of touch and the ability to feel the emotions of others, is having problems lately trying to keep at the emotions at bay. He always thought emotions made him weak. The evil Crescents are threatening his pack and killing humans in his territory, he must protect what’s his. I can’t wait to find out what the crescents have to do with the Wylde brothers and finally get some answers!
