Kitty Blume is a beautiful young resident at the Sisters of Mercy orphanage in Chicago. She was found at the gates when she was only a baby and taken in by the nuns to be raised according to the word of the Lord and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
As Kitty approaches her twentieth birthday, she is faced with the tough choice she knows she has to make. She is either to join the cloister and dedicate her life to service in the name of God, or to vacate her position at the orphanage for the good of another parentless child.
