I absolutely loved this book! I liked both main characters, Harper and Delia, and together they were so funny. Plus the romance with their boys was cute! I could totally hang out with these friends again, so I hope one day we get to revisit them! If you're looking for a short and sweet holiday read, then check out this amazing young adult paranormal story. There's spookiness, magic and bit of a mystery involved.

I went into this book not knowing what to expect from it. I enjoyed it a lot.

I was a good mix of Halloween elements, & Gothic location. The way the academy is described gives the feeling of a dark & dreary castle that comes out of the mountainside.

The main characters are Harper (a witch), & Cordelia (a vampire). They are the two POV's that the story is told from. But the cast of characters includes many that you would try to the haunted holiday.

What a wonderfully imaginative way to reimagine Halloween. Who knew all kinds of creatures attended the Academy. Cordelia has secrets and wants no friends but Harper is drawn to be her friend. Cordelia’s sister wants nothing to do with her and her father? He plays favorites with one daughter and not the other. On top of that what happened to their mother. I hope you enjoy the read as much as I did!

This was a fun start to a new series. I know it is almost Christmas, but I didn't want it to come before I got to finish this. The characters are interesting and I wouldn't be a Bloodwell if you paid me! I look forward to this series as soon as his week is over. Don't miss it either!
