At the time they have a switch they have been together for awhile and are beginning to be frustrated by each others differences. They are not sure how to communicate and don't really understand the difficulties in each others lives. Underneath it all the guys love each other and they find out how much as they try to live the others life for a day and experience body reactions and emotions from a different body.
This could have been hokey but it was well done, engaging and fun instead. A sweet BDSM story versus a dark one.
This author also wrote By His Rules which is quite good but it is more of a dark story with BDSM abuse and recovery.
This book was a lot of fun, but not just full of fluff. I enjoyed the use of the body switch for the two MC's to spend a day in each other's shoes and the fact that they just accepted it and moved on.
Bratty sub Jayk's POV was hysterical and reading about the older, dominant Amon struggling to get through a day at community college was a joy. While the premise is nutty, the actual story was full of emotion as the couple, who have somewhat lost their footing with each other, work to gain back the trust and communication that is the basis of their relationship. In alternating chapters we get the POV of both Jayk and Amon, as well as flashbacks to the start of their relationship and some super steamy sex scenes. Looking forward to reading the next one.

Jayk is a brat in desperate need of some discipline, Amon is his too busy Dom, who missed the signs. They switch bodies for a day, learn what it's like to walk in each others shoes, and come togethet at the end as a much better couple. There were a few cheesy parts, and it was predictable, but it was still fun and entertaining! The writing was good, the characters good, and the situation was interesting.

It's that kind of book you read, enjoy ...and forget. I liked it, it was funny, for my liking a bit too close to the kind of "nearly embarrassing" funny. Thankfully, most of the akward moments were solved before they got even worse and the book defintely benefitted from the many retrospects.
So - in the end the day in the others skin helped to focus again and everybody is happy. Yeah, me, too.
