Worth the investment. While relatively brief, it covers both the known, as well as the not known highlights. IT IS GREAT THAT THE BOOK IS NARRATED. This feature opens up the enjoyment of reading by giving many options for enjoyment: reading it, listening to it, being able to share the important and interesting passages with others, as well as being able to do this both at home, and while driving...all those 'endless hours'.

I describe “Business Lessons From Bill Gates” as a very basic and somewhat repetitive book. With 22 pages, it is a good early business read for elementary students. It has a few grammatical errors which can be used as a challenge for young students to find. It is a bit more biographical than expected and can be considered a very light version of what you will find in Wikipedia. I did not find any deep substance towards meeting the product claim of “fundamental teachings” or “business lessons for problem solving”. Still, it is an interesting book if you know nothing of Mr. Gates.

First of all: I was not expecting much of this book but I am a Fan of Bill Gates so I did have to read it. Took my time to finally have a window of time to do it and I was initially quite engaged with it. I did not find any new bits of information that I would have loved to find but the writing style was friendly to read...until the information just kept repeating itself again and again and again...like a song with the same lyrics (think of George Harrison's "I've Got my mind set on You" and you have the idea).
The lessons are valuable and I like to have them in a list format in book, and this is what made this purchase worth it. The author could just crop up half the book and this will make it much better...repeating the same info over and over will not make it better.
