Power in the Pursuit of Love: 1 Corinthians 13 in Context

What is the attitude that attracts the power of God?

Love is described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. This description was given to a group of immature but enthusiastic Christians who were meeting together to seek and to share the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

It was given to them to provide them with proper goals, that they might have the right attitude when they met together.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 will benefit us today as much as it did the Corinthians in the first century.

When love is given its proper place, power will not only be released, it will be used more effectively.
