A private island off the coast of Washington. A female sleuth, who is awaiting her chance to relocate from Seattle to France. Her boss is a slime ball, about to be married on the island, only he ends up murdered and she ends up with most of the island. Really. It's a great read. Loved it.

I hope there's a book 2! I've grown very fond of Amelia, and her unexpected adventures. The characters are great, the setting wonderful, and Sadie, well, best of all. I recommend this book to any and all who have a few hours to spend with a really great little book. 💖🐱🐾

This was a good book but like all these internet books it feels not finished so you have to get another book and another until you actually have if it had been printed a full book. But it was a good way to pass the afternoon .

This book was very easy reading. With many books I have to skip through some of the boring drawn out pages that have no bearing with the story but this was interesting all the way through. I found all of it to be true to what can actually happen in life and I enjoyed the surprise ending. Would read more from this author.

A quick and light read. I love the Amelia Feel good character. The story line moved quickly with multiple characters possibly being guilty of murder, with the murderer not being revealed until the end of the story. I look forward to reading more by this author.
