Climate Crazy 2020, by Dave Masko. The stark “Climate Crazy” message for 2020 is our West Coast Pacific Ocean dying due to rising sea levels, melting glaciers and a toxic “soup” of plastics and other toxins strangling Mother Nature here out West. This photojournalist’s hero is Greta Thunberg via her stirring message to the world that all is lost until all citizens of planet Earth respect the science of climate change today in 2019 and especially tomorrow in 2020 and after as the face of global warming removes an equitable and livable future for our children and our children’s children. Of course, always lying Donald Trump and Republicans controlling the Senate in 2019 deny this climate crisis; while also doing their best to remove all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) safeguards because Trump and the GOP are beholding to the fossil fuel industries, say deeply concerned citizenry interviewed for this special “new journalism” e-book that spotlights essays explaining the Who, What, When, Where, How and Why of “Climate Crazy” today worldwide. “How dare you continue to look away?” This was Thunberg’s message to the United Nations Climate Action Summit in New York City on Sept. 23, 2019. This 65-year-old climate crisis crusader thinks this 16-year-old Greta Thunberg is much more than a Swedish climate crisis activist because Thunberg has become not only a world leader in this global warming fight but the conscious of the younger generation who reject the evil lies of 73-year-old Donald Trump and other greedy old white rich men who don’t give a hoot if future generations suffer from future carbon dioxide emissions that can be halted, says Thunberg, to avoid devastating climate crazy consequences around the world. “Right here, right now is where we draw the line. The world is waking up. And change is coming, whether you like it or not,” asserted Thunberg during here recent United Nations speech in late September 2019. Meanwhile, this totally self-aware young lady known worldwide as “Greta” has the talent and even blessing from the Creator to get the world talking. “We, people of Earth, needed someone who could deliver the message of climate change credibly, soberly and passionately. While Thunberg’s “Climate Crazy” message going mainstream like never before at the end of 2019, there’s more opportunity on the horizon for fighting global warming if “we all take notice?” As the grandparent of four teens Greta’s age, this photojournalist and climate change activist, “there is no planet B!” Thus, we adults must join in solidarity with teenagers and young adults to make tangible change for our Earth. “We are not alone,” Thunberg asserts. Still, the skies over this spit of central Oregon coast beach and other regions out West are devoid of wild birds that once soared high in the air over this land now rocked with climate crisis hell, as one local put it. “According to United Nations and other climate crisis reports, more than 3 billion birds have disappeared from North American skies since 1970. “People need to pay attention to the birds around them because they are slowly disappearing. One of the scary things about the results is that it is happening right under our eyes. WE might not even notice it until it’s too late,” explained Cornell University conservation scientist Kenneth Rosenberg in a recent Associated Press interview. Rosenberg and other “Climate Crazy” environmentalist now project some 530 different bird species of North American sea and other wild birds. Bird and whale populations shrinking or even disappearing is reason enough to follow Thunberg’s lead and pay attention to global warming now in 2020 before it’s too late.
