Travels with Basil: An adventurecat living the #vanlife

"Off I went to have a look at a litter and came home with this bushy-tailed, bright-eyed little menace. Basil is the dream cat I pictured as a pet-less child: he is a bog-standard tabby with white socks and ruff, blue of eye and striped of tail. We bonded immediately. That would be key later on."

When I came up with the plan to take my cat travelling through Europe on our #vanlife adventure, I was told it couldn't be done. Friends and neighbours laughed at us, they told us we needed to come up with a different plan. Thank goodness we didn't listen to them.

This is the story of how I went travelling with my cat, husband and 21-year-old Renault Master.
