Sometimes justice prevails and sometimes it doesn't This short story is a good example of hidden agendas and trickery in our court system.

This was free on Amazon.

One main novella and two bonus novellas, each is different with interesting well developed characters lots of action and misdirection leading to each conclusion. I would recommend this novella and author to 👍 readers of mystery novels 👍🔰. 2023 😀👒😡😮

The gist of the story is that the judge, prosecutors and defense attorneys have a different kind of jury pool. At the beginning of a case, they place bets on how long the jury will deliberate before bringing in a verdict.

The surprise is at the end.

A series of weak legal short stories separated by the author’s pitch (exerpts) for his other books. Only if you can’t find something better to read.

This story is brutal. It is not enjoyable and I wish I had not read it! A brutal act by a man who is not human

Interesting story, wasn't expecting that.

Half the book is a quick read with a clever twist. Too short to mean anything however. The remainder of the book is self promoting.

It held my interest but wasn't something that I couldn't put down.
