Tanya is rather depressed as she feels misunderstood by her boss. She sees herself as described by an ex, "the body of a pint-size pinup girl, but in bed ...as sexy as a surfboard." Marcus Rush, the bank CEO saw her differently. He had been watching her for a year and had her checked out.. Marcus is a Dom and believes Tanya to be a potential sub, in fact he sees her as his potential sub. He sees Tanya as "beautiful, cautious, and in a sexual slumber". A misadventure caused by a drunken customer causes Marcus and Lucia to be locked in the vault overnight and following an innocuous beginning...their D/sub relationship develops overnight. They are certain that the bank cameras are offline and inoperable. Surprise! No spoilers shall be found here. When reading work by this author you can be certain that relationships develop quickly and the intimacy is sizzling.
I will say that I'm not a fan of serials...especially when advertised as a series. So disappointed to have to wait for.....the rest of the story! I'm all about instant gratification.

This is a hot book. The story could never happen but thats okay with this book because the author makes it believable. Only disappointment was instead of it being one longer book it is divided up leaving it with a big cliffhanger. I finished this book and immediately went to buy the others. Maybe more exploration in to feelings could have happened. But the storyline was there and didn't feel like the book was pure sex. This made it more enjoyable.

They wind up trapped in a bank vault that is locked for 24 hours and Marcus, who has been interested in Tanya for the last year, decides it is time to make his move. Things quickly escalate with Tanya discovering her submissive tendencies and they enjoy their time locked away. Once they are released Tanya is confronted by her boss and fired. This book leaves a lot of things up in the air so if you need a conclusion right away buy the whole series or you will be left wondering.
