Loved it! Dark, Macabre horror and fantasy story in one. Fans of Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker's book HOUSE will probably like this. In fact, this book is kind of a mixture between that and Tolkien if you can imagine. Definitely not Narnia--it's too dark for that. The story kept me glued to it from the moment I began reading. It's a little gory--I did say horror, right? But the story never got TOO scary, surprising considering the many horror-type characters and situations--in fact, the beginning chapter is probably the most terrifying of the entire book. If you can get through that, the rest is a little less so, with a lot more story and curiosity. This is a fast paced book, some gory detail, but the story kept moving. In all, I recommend this book IF you like horror and fantasy. (I'm not really into horror or zombie apocalypse style stuff and yet I still liked this though!)

I find it hard to classify this book into any one category. It's an intriguing blend of fantasy, science fiction, and adventure. Another way to describe it would be to say "The Lord of the Rings" meets the modern world. The main character must defeat the evil creatures which came to life from the imaginations of humans by using his own imagination as a power of good. By taking bits and pieces of ideas from the most currently popular movies and books, James Somers weaves an original and interesting plot that kept me turning the pages. - Sheila Rae Myers, Author

I have to admit this book was nothing that I expected. However having said that I do think it was very creative and imaginative. I have never read a Christian author who wasn't afraid to write sci-fi on this level talking about underworld and things but still having faith being the foundation. I would definitely recommend it to pre-order readers

The story has you drawn in after the first 2 pages. As you continue to read, the story takes an unexpected turn. I enjoyed this book. It was a fantasy story that gave honor to God.

Somewhat predictable but entertaining, imaginative, and interesting. Would have liked more revelations of the whereabouts of the bank robber. Sequel?
