I did not read the first book, so maybe I missed something, but this whole book seemed so incomplete to me. It's a very short ebook, but I thought it could have been fleshed out SO much more. Possibly if it were novel length I would have enjoyed it more. As it is, it's ok, not a bad read, but could have been better

I just finished reading this book and can’t wait to get started on Real Illusions III! It’s full of mystery and suspense with surprise after surprise. Very well written. The author goes out of her way to show the complex relationships and feelings of her characters. The book is quite poignant in parts, which brought tears to my eyes. And it also elevated my spirits with some amusing scenes.
