Tammy Falkner lives on a farm in a lovely, sprawling little town in rural NC with her beekeeper husband and a house full of boys, a few dogs, and a cat or two (or five - who has time to count?). As half of the Lydia Dare team, she has co-written ten books, including the Westfield Wolves series and the Gentlemen Vampyre series. A huge fan of Regency England, she wrote three books for Sourcebooks as Tammy Falkner, featuring Regency Faeries, and just began her first New Adult adult series.

I dont like telling people how to feel about a book, and I don't want to bash an author. So I can only say how I feel about a book, and how I came up with how I review them. When I read a book I judge it like this:
5 stars= LOVE it! Couldn't put it down and the story was amazing. I scream from the mountain tops for my friends to read it! Once or twice I may have told a friend I wasn't answering her calls until she read it. I think that highly of my 5* reviews :)
4 stars = Really like it. There was just something missing to where I wasn't in love, or there was something that bugged me. I would probably tell my friend to read it. If I thought they would like that kind of story.
3 stars= It was ok. It isn't bad, but I just felt "meh" while reading it and wouldn't recommend it to my friends
2 stars= I just really didn't like the book. Some books have really annoying characters, nothing at all happens, or I just dont feel connected to the characters so I dont want to keep reading. And if I dont feel connected then reading becomes a chore. I would not recommend these books to a friend. Or enemy :)
1 star= Didnt like it, and I couldnt finish. I have read around 400 books, and I have only given 3 or 4 a 1 star ratings.

This was super short NA romance, but a really cute friends taking the next step story. It is tricky doing a romance this short but the leads have a long standing friendship, in which Lacey has put Sean in the 'friend zone' in the past (afraid to lose their friendship) but a jar full of jelly beans and a charity event in which the winner who guesses the number of jelly beans gets a kiss from Lacey - and a little push from their friends - gives Sean a chance to move things to the next level. And the story ends with just the promise of a HEA instead of trying to do to much in the short space. I really enjoyed this little story.

I got this as a kindle freebie but I liked it well enough to seek out other stories in this series and in looking at the author's goodreads page I discovered that she is half of the Lydia Dare writing team - I've enjoyed their Gentlemen Vampire and Regency Werewolve series. (as a FYI the story part of the book is around 30% of the content the rest is previews of the rest of the series.)

At first I didn't realise this wasn't about the Reed brothers and then started reading but thankfully they tied in here nicely too! This was a funny sweet and very short (20 mins-ish) story that compliments the reed brothers stories well as it still shows their love and bond and how they extend it to their friends. Eating all those pickles was hilarious when you find out what was in his pocket...just saying :-)

THis book was okay. I wish it was longer and had more of the history of the two charactors. It had samples of the other books in the series. I will definetly be reading some of those though.

The Reed Brothers have fast become a favorite. I love all the brothers and can't decide which one is my book boyfriend. This series will not disappoint. They may not have much money or material things but what they lack in those areas they make up for with trust, loyalty and love. They are fiercely protective of each other and the ones they call family.

I thought both the story and the characters were very entertaining. The main couple were sweet and I would have really loved to have had a much longer story. Unfortunately, the story was SO short, that I was shocked. More than half the book, consisted of samples of the author's previous books. At least the story ended in a good way. I REALLY hope that perhaps in the future, that the author writes a full story about this couple. Even in the short time getting to know them, I really liked them and can definitely see potential for a great book for them.

I DO Recommend reading this short story, especially if it continues to be offered for free.

I give it 3.5 Stars, rounded up to 4.

The story line about the Reed Brothers blow me away! All the books about this brothers are greately written and very sexy, with great guy's, you just have to fall in love with. And all of them have a strong meaning behind the story and are at the same time funny. Specially this shorter story about a jung crash is very funny!
All time favourite writer Tammy Falkner - Fabulous!

if your looking for a good read this series is one.. I hate to tell much about the book cause I think that ruins it for anybody that has not read the series yet.. but she made these brothers so real that you want to meet them in person.. its GREAT, I hope she writes more I want to know what happens to the oldest brother..

This is a cute short story of Sean and Lacey. It only goes to about 34% of the book and then there is a preview of the Reed brother's stories. I loved all the Reed brothers books and this story was a cute little addition. Definitely a !UST read if you have red the others.
